Located in Central London at the heart of New Oxford Street, The Bloomsbury Building is an iconic London building. Used for both residential and commercial purposes, the building, finished in the 1940s, has an impressive history and was the London Head Quarters of the Ministry of Defence.

We worked with Kier during the renovation of, converting this Ex MOD building into a modern commercial office space, which included retaining all windows, doors, curtain wall cladding, aluminium flashings and pressings, refurbishing them to their newly installed look and efficiency.

WORK COMPLETED

  • Windows, Doors and Curtain Wall – Sapa Bomb Blast 
  • Refurbishment of Sapa Powerframe Enhanced Curtain Walling and windows.
  • Complete strip down of curtain wall and windows to skeleton keeping only the framing, flashings & pressings
  • Rebuilding with new gaskets, thermal break, fixings, vision panels, vapour barriers, frame & perimeter silicone sealing.
  • Finishing with a full, top end 10 year guaranteed on site paint respray
  • Water testing to CWCT standards witnessed and passed by Wintech.
