One Kingdom Street is a twelve-storey state-of-the-art office building that was completed as part of the first and second phase of the Paddington Central redevelopment project situated close to Paddington Station in Central London.
Working with JLL,The project was divided into two phases that included the external refurbishment of all external elevation facades and CWD are proud to have helped rejuvenate the area and One Kingdom Street for the 21st Century.
WORK COMPLETED
PHASE ONE
- Working from 12mt temporary cradles along with pedestrian friendly landing scaffold.
- Applied special sealant to stop the delamination of exposed laminated glass edges.
- Full restorative clean to the front elevation, part returns and roof louvres using our specialist PPC restoration fluids.
- Securing overhead soffit panelling to approx. 150 panels plus a quantity of remedial mechanical repairs to the cladding.
PHASE TWO
- The design and erecting of alarmed Haki staircase & landing scaffold with hoarding for 5No. temporary cradles ranging from 6mts to 12mts in length.
- The sealing of gaskets to delaminating glass edges to all East, South & West elevations.
- Repair/replacement of damaged cladding panels, loose pressure plates & caps, loose/shifted louvre blades, displaced/missing gaskets, failed silicone seals.
- Securely refixing and sealing all coping panels.
- Repair of loose & jammed smoke vent look-a-like cladding panels.
- Storm damage repair of large steel gates on the roof BMU stations.
- Restoration of chalked Polyester Powder coat and anodised finished aluminium framing and panelling along with all glass panels contaminated by railway brake dust & general traffic grim using our specialist restoration fluids.
